Little Fit Really Fits!

Hats are a must-have for summertime. But some hats for babies and toddlers look, well, babyish. I’m all about the protection that a floppy sun hat can provide, but I also want my kids to look cool while keeping cool!

That’s why I love Little Fit hats.

When my daughter put on her Little Fit ABCD trucker hat, my first thought was that she looked like a rock star. The hat is too cute: it’s pink with “AB CD” and a rhinestone lightening bolt! The mesh back keeps her cool when it’s hot out and the adjustable back means it will grow with her.

My son, who just turned a year, has a gigantic head. (But a bigger head means a bigger brain, right?) It is near impossible to find hats to fit him. I took a quick measurement of his head and determined that he needed the “Big” size hat from Little Fit. The problem that I’ve had is when I buy a hat to fit his circumference, it’s way out of proportion for his body. But the Little Fit Classic hat was just right! The Classic hats have a flexy band that stretches to fit.

We have a saying in our house when the kids are looking particularly stylin’: Cooool Baby!

Little Fit makes trucker style baseball caps for infants and toddlers. Their hats come in two sizes: “Little” for 4-24 months and “Big” for 2-5 yrs. They retail for $15-20.

We’re a husband and wife team with two young children and we love to be outdoors. As concerned parents we try to keep our children protected from the sun. There seemed to be a real shortage of high quality, “cool” hats that actually fit our toddler’s head.

Like most parents, we’ve had lots of ideas about improving children’s products and decided to run with this one. So we went to see a man about some hats and… Little Fit was born. It took almost a year of going back and forth with the manufacturer before we finally got the perfect fit. Our goal is to make high quality, clean hats with emphasis on the fit.
